Animal Cell Quest an offline learning game your child owns forever

Most cell units are a diagram with arrows on it. Label the nucleus, the mitochondria, the ribosome and by Friday it's gone.

Animal Cell Quest turns the cell into a working city and puts your child in charge of running it. Every district is a real organelle doing a real job. Then things start breaking. The power fails. The factories go quiet. Packages pile up with nowhere to go. Waste floods the streets and the gates jam open. Each time, your child has to investigate, work out which part of the cell is responsible, and repair it. The science comes from solving the problem, not from memorizing a list.

What your child will learn

By the end they can explain why a muscle cell is packed with mitochondria, what happens when a lysosome tears open, how a protein gets built and shipped out of the cell and why a cell is a system rather than a bag of parts. Fourteen missions, eight different kinds of activity instead of one repeated quiz, nine real micrographs sitting behind the cartoon drawings, and a 25-question Full Inspection that earns a printable Investigator certificate.

Wrong answers teach instead of just scoring. Miss a question and the game names the right answer, explains why and walks your child straight back into that district to read it again then reopens the question so a right answer counts.
